The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees
The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees plants, protects and preserves trees to enhance the quality of life and health for present and future generations. A champion for urban forests, the Alliance works to combat tree canopy loss caused by severe storms, rapid development, and climate change.
Established in 2015 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Alliance for Cape Fear Trees is recognized at the state and national levels for its positive impact in our region. With the help of our volunteers and supporters, we safeguard and enrich the region's “green infrastructure,” especially in under-canopied and underserved neighborhoods. Our goal is to welcome, engage, and empower everyone in the community to help save and grow trees.
Through urban forestry programs, events, advocacy, and initiatives, the Alliance is making the Cape Fear region a healthier and more vibrant place to live and work.
