Education & Advocacy

Part of our work is raising awareness and teaching the community about issues relating to trees. The Alliance for Cape Fear Trees participates in several of Wilmington's annual environmental events including: the Azalea Festival, Earth Day, Fire in the Pines, and the Native Plant Festival. Community investment, interest, and education in environmental well-being is an important part of preserving Wilmington's urban forests.
